CLARK (YongHak) LEE (percussion) joined the Music Spectrum Faculty in 2021. He has been playing the drums for more than 20 years and has over 17 years of teaching experience. In his native South Korea, he worked with and recorded with many famous artists such as Myung Shik Kang, Yohan Choi, Eun Joo Jeon, Do Hyun, the 26th Division Military Band, Anointing, Bridge Builders, and Cornerstones. He has a passion for music education as well as performance. He has published three books on percussion technique and taught hundreds of students in seminars and lectures both in Korea and since immigrating to the US in 2016. He is currently the director of the Open Door Presbyterian Church (ODPC) Band Academy, a music program that operates with 20 musicians and 100 students every year. He performs regularly at both ODPC and Korean Central Presbyterian Churches. He previously ran the New York Music Institute. At home, Clark also enjoys passing on the drumming legacy to his nine year old son and six year old twins.
